macOS X.11 - X.14 (El Capitan - Mojave) don't install any longer on Fusion 11

I want to create vms for ElCapitan, HighSierra and Mojave. I've downloaded the installers from Apple according to Apples support page (https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT211683). I created the respective installers as described on the support page.

When trying to create a vm, the installer of El Capitan causes a kernel panic, and the installers for High Sierra and Mojave cause an immediate infinite restart of the vm.

Host system is macOS 10.14.6. Fusion is version 11.5.7. (I even reinstalled Fusion 10 with the same results!)

Are you installing using the wizard or by hand?  The wizard is *highly* recommended.

Hi dlhotka,

I never heard of such a Wizard thing.

I drag the installer onto the corresponding field of the New Machine window, as shown in the attached screenshot. Then Fusion creates an install disk behind the scene, then I configure the machine (cores, RAM, disk space) and then start that machine.
