macOS Catalina 10.15.6 system, VMware Fusion 11.5.6 cannot be installed

For macOS Catalina 10.15.6 system, after the dmg installation package of VMware Fusion 11.5.6 is opened, double-click the VMware Fusion icon to pass the verification, and it also prompts for administrator account authentication, and then nothing happens. VMware has been installed before the installation interface pops up. Fusion 11.5.2 version, but when I started the virtual machine, I suddenly prompted that the VMX file could not be opened, so I uninstalled VMware Fusion 11.5.2, reinstalled 11.5.5 and the above situation occurred. Does anyone know how to solve it?

So first, make sure you're installing from an administrator account (not a standard one).

Then try doing a clean install:

- drag fusion to the trash

- empty trash

- reboot

- empty trash

- reinstall fusion
