installing windows applications with Fusion

I was wondering how easy or difficult it is to install Windows-based applications AFTER setting up your virtual machine with Fusion. Given the VM is essentially one big file (as I understand it), I wasn't sure if new applications could be easily installed once the VM is created, or if it is best to make sure you have all of the Windows apps installed that you will need BEFORE creating the VM. Any thoughts or issues would be appreciated!

Windows inside of the VM is no different than Windows running on a plain PC. Pop a CD/DVD into the drive, wait for Windows (in the VM) to open it up, and follow the installation instructions of your application of choice.

Very simple.
