installer hanging

I'm having trouble getting the beta installed - the installer is hanging at "Finishing Installation: Running VMWare Fusion install script". I've tried several times, and let it run for up to an hour with no effect.

Can you look at /var/log/install.log (you can run /Applications/Utilities/Console.app to easily read install.log) and copy and paste the last few VMware-related lines?

The installer should log what it's doing to that file. It's generally probing network addresses to find private addresses that aren't in use, so it can use them for VMs.

If you run VMware-uninstaller.tool (it's in the .dmg) then install again, does the problem reproduce?

When I go to the support page, I'm not seeing the Fusion beta listed as an option - only Workstation 5 for Windows...
