install error

Hi all....

I've used an standalone Yosemite 10.10.5 installer many times with Fusion 7.x to install OS X, but when i try now i get the following

Any idea what i am doing wrong ? I have checked "Synchronize Time" under Settings, Advanced, but this didn't do any good. And host time is correct. The installer is not corrupted as i used it several times.

Solved...  expired cert in installer, so adjusted date/time on host to match and install went through ok..

Users have legit access to install OS X Yosemite in VM, and should discourage that.. This makes me say "MS is better" as while they have Activation, at least u can still install the OS and not worry about *unable due to cert expired* whenu know very well it came from a legit source such as Mac App Store.

With respect, the Correct Answer is to download a fresh copy of "Install OS X Yosemite" (or "Install OS X <OtherVersion>") from the App Store. The updated installer will work without having to change the date on the host computer.

This issue was documented in this thread:
