You could try the VMware tutorials on printing at VMware Education Services:Fusion tutorials or try to install Bonjour for Windows, which is covered in the tutorial.

I also have a Macbook Pro and was able to set up BOTH as 1) connecting to a shared Mac printer using Bonjour, and 2) connecting to a shared printer while in NAT or Bridge networking mode.

One item that was not documented in the tutorials is needed for NAT and Bridge printing to work (I got these from VMware tech support):

1) On your Mac running Leopard, go to System Preferences -> Sharing

2) Enable the File sharing and click on "Options"

3) Enable "Share files and folders using SMB"

4) Now click on Printer Sharing and select the Printer you want to share

5) Restart the Virtual Machine

Then follow the instructions on how to add the printer in Windows as in the Fusion Tutorial. Note that to use Bridge mode you should apply the patch mentioned at the top of these discussions. You will lose your wireless connections without the patch. There is no such issue in NAT mode.
