help ... newbie !! i downloaded vmware and i have the windows vista 64 bit ultimate cd trying to make it work on my macbook pro ???

need help downloading / configuring so i can run vista ultimate on my macbook pro

Hi djfukd,

Welcome to the VMWare community forums. You may actually want to repost this elsewhere. This forum is actually for the VMWare virtual infrastructure, which is a server based VMWare setup. I'm assuming you probably downloaded VMWare fusion, and that forum is located here: http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/desktop/fusion.

As far as downloading/configuring it, you can download a trial from here: , as well as look on the support page for instructions on configuring it. Most of the install/configuration is done through an installer, and a easy to use GUI interface. If you have a specific question, you can post it in the VMWare Fusion forum from the link above.
