can't send cntrl alt del.

I can boot up to the windows login screen but when i try to use my MBP keyboard, an external keyboard, or the send cntrl alt del in the VM menu option nothing happens. Smiley Sad any ideas?

1. Click inside the guest's window to make sure the guest has focus.

2. Hit Ctrl-Alt-Insert to send a Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Are you using a Boot Camp VM? If so, you will probably need to reboot into Boot Camp and follow the instructions here:

I tried both of these to no avail. any one else have that issue. my mouse works fine it's just not recognizing the keyboard either external or the MBPro one. Smiley Sad

Are you running off a Boot Camp VM? What happened after you installed the registry patch?

yeah sorry i am running off a bootcamp vm. nothing happened after i ran the registry. still didn't take the cntrl alt del from the keyboard external or otherwise. not even from the virtual machine drop down.

ctrl-alt-fn-del works for a MBP, just tried it.
