apple external keyboard with numeric keypad problem

 I have an apple external keyboard with numeric keypad.  The bluetooth keyboard works in fusion but the numeric keypad doesn’t work.  I’n using Windows 10 OS.  I thought it would just work like the other side of the keyboard.  Is this a Fusion problem or Windows 10 problem? Is there a work around?

In my case I had to press the Clear button on the numeric keypad for the numbers to work - I suspect this is the num lock key from a Windows perspective. Works fine on my W10 VM.

The Mac is running Big Sur 11.2.3, Fusion Pro 12.1.1. I also have the keyboard profile set to Windows 10 (in the Fusion settings).
