after upgrade to v2 from v1 can't connect to localhost

Hi,

I am running Mac OS x 10.4 and just updgraded to Fusion v2.0.2.

I am a web developer and primarily use my instance of windows to test sites that i'm developing. After the upgrade, any links using localhost do not resolve correctly. This was working 100% before the upgrade. Other non-local URLs work just fine.

During the installation i got some error that said my keyboard couldn't be found, but haven't seen it again on subsequent startups. And my keyboard has been working fine in windows. I tried reinstalling and made sure to do the 'found hardware wizard' the first time. It installed a "new system base device" or something and it told me there were problems with it. I have tried both 'bridged' network adapter settings (after reading some post online about a similar problem) and NAT. No dice with either.

Does anybody have any ideas about what settings I might need to tweak?

Thanks,

Jared

In Windows... click Start > Run and then copy and paste the following command and what is the output?

cmd /k ping localhost
