Yosemite/Fusion 7. Command-H does not hide the Fusion window.

I've always had CMD-H set active (Fusion 5, WinXP) to hide the Windows machine and get back to the Mac.

On my laptop (Fusion 7/Win7) this works.

On my Mac (Fusion 7, WinXP or Win7) it no longer works.  The settings are all 'correct' as far as I know - and I checked that those that do work on the laptop are the same as on the Mac.

Also, I cannot drag a window (from the side display) over the Fusion/Windows screen (fullscreen on Mac) which  I could do before.

When the Mac toolbar is made to come down (what's with that long delay anyway?  Can it be made faster?), in the VMWareFusion dropdown, the CMD-H is greyed-out (inactive) - despite it being set to active in the VMWare Fusion Preference/Fusion shortcuts.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks,

Update - the reported issue is when in full screen mode.,

In Single Window mode, CMD-H works.

When in Full Screen mode, the window is in a separate "space" in OS X context.  I can "hide" by doing CMD-left arrow.

But!  CMD-H does work on the laptop - but really behaves like CTRL-left arrow.

I really don't like this behaviour.
