Windows Guest application icons greyed out in Mac Applications folder

I am running macOS Ventura 13.0.1 with a Windows 10 x64 guest OS using VMWare Fusion 13.0.0 personal use license.  Since upgrading to Ventura and Fusion 13, the Windows application icons in the Mac applications folder are greyed out.  They function appropriately when i click on them, but the icons are generic grey blocks.  They also appear this way in the Mac Dock when running in unity mode.

I have (i) reinstalled VMWare Tools, (ii) unchecked and rechecked "Run Windows Applications from your Mac's Application Folder" in the Default Applications section of VMWare preferences as well as clicked on Restore Applications and Clean Up Applications, (iii) enabled Full Disk Access for VMWare Fusion and VMWare Fusion Applications Menu, (iv) restarted the Windows OS, (v) restarted the Mac OS.    None of these actions fixed the problem.
