Windows 8 Covers Entire Screen

I created a new VMWare Fusion and installed Windows 8.1.  Everything went well, however, Windows covers the entire screen so I am not able to access VMWare Fusion's accessories at the top of the window.  How can I make Windows 8.1 smaller so I can see such things as the printer, external hard drive, etc?

I installed Windows 8.1 64 bit.  Should I have installed 32 bit?

Unless you've set VMware Fusion (menu) > View > Hide Menu Bar in Full Screen then you should be able to move the mouse to the top of the screen and the Menu Bar should appear after 2 seconds.  You can try pressing Shift-Command-M to toggle the state of Hide Menu Bar in Full Screen and then mouse up to the top again.  Or you can also press Control-Command-F to toggle the Full Screen view state.

Thank you.  Cmd-ctrl-F worked.
