Windows 7 x64 Boot Camp Partition, Snow Leopard on MBP, and VMWare Fusion 2.x/3.x

Thanks in advance for your help!

As the title states, I have Windows 7 x64 Boot Camp Partition, Snow Leopard on MBP, and VMWare Fusion 2.x/3.x. I'm trying to open the partition as a vm and I get into an endless cycle where windows tries to Repair Start Up disk for a very long time before failing.

The boot camp partition runs fine natively.

Has anyone experienced this? Can someone provide or link a remedy? My google fu is failing miserably ....

I have a slightly different problem. I installed Windows 7 as an update to Vista. It set up as a dual boot, which runs just fine in Boot Camp, but when I try to run it in Fusion, I can only select the Vista partition. If I select the Windows 7 partition, Windows comes up with an error message saying Windows failed to start because something has changed, reboot from the Windows installation disk and "Repair your computer." I didn't try this yet. Perhaps I have to remove the dual booting to get it to work. Anyone know what to do?
