Windows 7 VM - Networking Slow to Start

Does anyone else see this issue?  I have a Windows 7 VM on my Mac.  When I start it up or log into it, the network won't become available immediately.  It usually takes 2-3 minutes from the time the desktop icons first appear before I can reach any network resources or connect to the Internet.  I can tell when it's ready because there is a little network icon in the taskbar that shows when the network is up/down.

The VM is NAT'd, so uses the same IP as my Mac.  The VM runs off the bootcamp partition.

Just wondering if it's normal for the VM to take so long.  Or if there's a setting I can change somewhere that will speed this up?

Not a major issue, just really annoying.  Everytime the VM goes to sleep and I wake it up, or I reboot it and log in again.....I have to wait several minutes before it's usable.

Thanks,

Matt

It should be nearly instant.

If you quickly toggle between Bridged and NAT does it work?

Does the issue persist if you reboot the Mac and try?

I just put the VM to sleep, then woke it up.  Network was unavailable.  Tried switching to Bridged then back to NAT and it did not enable immediately.  Took a minute or two.

It does persist even if I reboot the Mac.
