Windows 7 64 bit appearing as 32 bit

I searched but couldn't find any other responses similar. I have Windows 7 64 bit installed with Fusion 3 and the Operating system appears that way. However, when I look at the System properties inside the Virtual Machine, windows shows itself as a 32 bit OS. Any thoughts on how I can change it so it's being recognized as a 64 bit system? Is there something I need to add to the vmx file? Thanks in advance for any thoughts any of you are able to share.

did you use "easyinstall" - "feature" ?

you can not repair the current VM - try setting up a new one - not using "easyinstall"

I'll give that a go. It was made a few weeks ago and I can't remember if I did or didn't. So I'll try it again and see what happens. Thanks for your response.
