Windows 10 search Mac's mirrored folders

Greetings all,

I have a Windows 10 Pro installed on VMware Fusion in my Mac, and I have my Mac's desktop, documents, and downloads folders mirrored on Windows (\vmware-host mapping to drive letter Z:\ that has HGFS file system). However, when I search for files in these folders from Windows, nothing is shown in the results. How can I enable these folders to be indexed and searched?
