Windows 10 Update VMWARE Fusion using bootcamp partition is causing my windows taskbar to crash and restart repeatedly

I a m running Windows 10 x64 on my bootcamp partition via VMWare Fusion. I have Mac OS Sierra on the Mac side and running VMWARE Fusion version 10.0.1.

Windows 10 asked me to do a few updates yesterday and I clicked on update. After the updates were completed, upon reboot, the taskbar the bottom keeps crashing and restarting over and over again.

If I boot solely into Bootcamp, it works fine, but using VMWare fusion, something is causing Windows to act weirdly.

HELP.
