Windows 10 PRO as Bootcamp and VM - activation problem

Hi

I went through several articles on how to activate the same Windows 10 license in Bootcamp and VM. I did the necessary modifications in the .vmx file and so on. I'm unable to activate Windows under Fusion VM based on the Bootcamp partition (the system has been previously activated under native Bootcamp).

Is it even possible?

It's really important to me since I need to use and switching Windows in both modes (native and as VM).

Appreciate any help

Thank you

K.

I did eventually get it working, I can't recall quite what I did but it did need actual win 10 key or keys, never got it working in both with the win 7 upgrade entitlements. It did need some patiance, it took a while for it to all sort itself out on MS servers, but that bootcamp/vm does not remain activated in both, though every time switch ennvironments need to go fix ms account issue by signing in if want to use anything related to store.

Bigger issue for me right now that my bootcamp vm no longer starts up at all, I did post a question about it but it seems to have been deleted?
