Will VMware Fusion ever have support for Encrypted virtual machines?

The one thing I'd really like to see in VMware Fusion is support for VMware password encrypted Virtual Machines.

I use a VMware encrypted Windows virtual machine with VMware Workstation 7 to do my accounting. It would be really cool if I could use this with VMware Fusion on the Mac, then finally I can finally ditch my Boot Camp partition.

Does anyone know whether this is on any Roadmap?

VMware typically does not discuss details about unannounced product features or what's on a products road map however it certainly doesn't hurt to make a feature request.  In the interim you could consider not using the VMware Workstation encryption and instead use a third party disk encryption that could be used under both VMware Workstation and VMware Fusion.
