What does Bridged Autodetect actually do?

In my Fusion setup i can choose various bridged network interfaces and i can select Autodetect. What does Autodetect actually do?

Hi TonMachielsen ,

When you select Autobridge, your VM will have the same network environment as the first Network Adapter that list on your Mac , your can check this via Mac System Preferences -> Network; when you select a specific network adapter, say , W-Fi, your VM will have the same network environment as your W-Fi.
