Video corruption

Sometimes when resuming virtual machine, the following happens, as seen in the attached screenshot.

Keyboard shortcuts work, and the mouse works, but the tracking is off by one icon.

Suspending and resuming the VM fixes the problem.

Still hasn't been fixed in the latest update.

Any help?

This is known problem, which I have experienced with Windows 8 and 10, remaining unfixed in Fusion 8.1.1. The workaround I found in the forums here is to switch to Full Screen view, then back to Single Window view, which fixes it temporarily. I wish VMware would fix it permanently.

Hi,

For anyone else following this, VerizonLover also posted the same issue 2 months ago here: Video corruption

(Posting it here as it has a tiny bit more info)

Can you tell us a bit more about your hardware? Specifically the graphics adapter used in your host?

Did you ever install an updated driver for that graphics adapter?

Could you please simply resize the VM window when this happens and see if it helps?
