VNC internal server and keyboard problems

I understand that this might be a low priority as one needs to manually edit the config file to enable the VNC server and there's no time for big changes, but the fact is that its performance is great, so it would be very good to be able to use it.

But I have one problem, I'm using spanish keyboards, and when I type for example - the guest system shows an '. If I type + it shows ! etc... all the non alphanumeric keys are somewhere else.

Tested by connecting from a PC with ultravnc to a mac book pro with XP as it's guest system and from my own Mac book with chicken of the VNC to a guest windows 2003.

If I use the normal Fusion window everything works fine, it only fails when the connection is made with some VNC client.

I'm no expert, but my understanding is that most VNC

implementations often get international keyboard mappings

wrong.

You may want to follow the same advice as for OSXVNC and

set the client keyboard to US when accessing a VNC server. It's worth a try.

You probably already know that you can put the System

Preferences/International/Input Menu in the menu bar for quick access for such occasions.
