VMware fusion turn off VM instead suspending

Hi all,

Maybe I am wrong, but why when my mac idles the vms go off.

I mean I would like they suspend so in 1 click or automatically I start work where i left.

not sure that I've been clear

ps: I don't want change energy setting of Mac, cause for what i saw this option is available in parallels or virtualbox

Unfortunately, sleeping the host doesn't reliably sleep the guest.  The best option is to change the 'prevent sleep when screen blanks' and set the machine to not sleep. With the screen off, the power use is negligible.
