VMware fusion has paused this virtual machine.... message won't go away

I have a client running VMWare Fusion (on a MacBook Air) and he started running out of disk space. When I got the laptop I immediately freed up some space by moving several large files to an external hard drive.

Whenever I start fusion I get the message "VMWare Fusion has paused this virtual machine because the disk on which the Virtual machine is stored is almost full"

Right below that it says "To continue, you must free up 962mb of disk space"

There is 14GB free on the host machine. No matter how I enter fusion it does this Smiley Sad Help!

I think this is a bug with VMWAre because I get the exact same message including amount of space requred even though I have 21GB on ny MAC OSX disk hosting VMWare and 8 GB on my WINXP Disk partition . I just recently upgraded to the latest version of VMWare 2.05 and never saw this message before then. Requires me to power off my WINXP each time I bring up and therefore cannot suspend anymore so more an annoyance than anything. Hopefully next release of VMWare will fix.
