I'm running Fusion 1.0 and boot camp 1.3 with OSX 10.4 and XP Professional SP2. My problem is that Unity, drag and drop between Fusion and OSX, and USB devices appear broken. After initial installation of VMware tools, Unity and drag and drop are functional AS LONG AS I DON"T REBOOT XP (even though it says it needs to). As soon as the virtual XP reboots, all those items cease functioning. Running update for tools does nothing. However, if I uninstall the tools within XP, then do a clean reinstallation of them, they function until the next virtual XP reboot. Everything functions as normal within XP when booted with boot camp.
Is this perhaps a problem with boot camp 1.3, that will go away if I update to 1.4? Or is there another issue at work here?
