VMware Tools install crashes Mac OSX High Sierra (10.13.6) guest

Hi,

I have a Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.6) guest and it crashes hard when trying to install the VMware Tools.  The install does not complete.  Has anyone else seen this behavior and been able to remedy it?  Thanks.

Sorry no time to test if I can reproduce your issue, but I suggest to try and use an older version of VMware Tools.

For example latest from Fusion 10:
