Because Fusion 4.1.4 runs only partially on Mavericks I purchased the upgrade to 6.0.1 yesterday. To my suprise after reboot after installation of new vmware tools the tools crash approx. 20 secs after login. The message displayed is: "VMware Tools Core Service has encountered an error and needs to close...".
I am now thinking of going back to mountan lion. Since a few other guys have reported the same problem I hope that vmware issues a bugfix quite soon.
