MacOS Guest support does not include 3d acceleration, so it's no surprise that some things don't work.  Even if that's not it, since MacOS Guests have been depreciated for support, I wouldn't expect to see a fix.

There are several macOS applications that do not render well under Fusion due to the lack of 3d support from the VMware SVGA driver. It might be that Safari has now joined this list.

Apple doesn’t make it easy to add driver support for 3D. But you might want to turn on the Fusion experimental 3d support as noted in https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/81657 and see if that makes a difference.

Ah, forgot about that because it doesn't work on Sonoma (and I've heard mixed results on anything later than Big Sur).

On an Intel host I use

appleGPU0.present = "TRUE"
svga.present = "FALSE"

The enables the Apple paravirtualised graphics, VMware Tools works fine.  This is for Ventura and Sonoma.

The virtual machine cannot be started when I make the settings you specified.
In previous versions we were able to use it without any problems.
We started getting errors in safari browser after macOS Ventura 13.2 updates.
Yes, we are aware that there is no graphics support, but as VMware, can't an update be released for this situation, at least in VMware Tools?

VMWare has depreciated tools support for MacOS - I wouldn't expect any updates for issues (especially on Intel).

Do you need to add those values to the file or I'm supposed to just modified those values?  I'm asking , because I don't have those parameters in the configuration file.

UPDATE:

Adding those values renders my virtual Machine useless (can't start)

They will need to be added - from what I remember the last time I did this they were not in the .vmx file because the SVGA adapter is the default when not specified.

Assuming you are running Fusion on a Monterey or later macOS, and that your VM is also Monterey or later, what exactly is happening? Is the VM failing to start at all with an error message, or did the VM start and the console window is blank?

If an error message was displayed, it's likely that the vmx file entries have been mis-typed. Check to see that what you typed EXACTLY match the following:

svga.present = "FALSE"
appleGPU0.present = "TRUE"

The spaces before and after the equal sign are required to be there. TRUE and FALSE must be enclosed in regular double-quotes (" ") and not curly smart quotes.

Could you zip up and post the .vmx file that you edited so I can take a look at it?
