VMware Fusion PC Migration Agent for Linux?

Hello,

Does VMware provide a similar tool to migrate a Linux PC into a VM for Fusion and OS/X?

Remember that for now, Windows still doesn't have 100 per 100 of the OS market share. Smiley Wink

TIA.

You mean like the (free) VMware vCenter Converter?  Which has had linux import support for the past few years, BTW.

Hi RDPetruska,

I don't know nothing about VMware vCenter Converter, free or not.

I'm looking for a tool that migrate a Linux box to a VM for Fusion, even if I've to pay a small fee for that.

TIA for any solution.

Cheers?

Just took a look at VMware vCenter Converter.

It's a Windows Tool!

I'm looking for an OS/X or Linux version of such a tool, not one for the crippled MS OS.

Any chance to get that from VMware?

Cheers.

The *agent* runs under Windows but it can actually migrate a remote Linux machine.
