VMware Fusion 3.1.2 dropping bridged network

Hi everyone,

I've currently using Fusion 3.1.2 on a Mac running OSX 10.6.  When I run a Windows XP virtual machine I am getting an issue where my bridged network drops out after anywhere between 10 minutes and 2 hours.

At first I thought that it was in relation to the machine sleeping, but after turning off all power saving it is still happening.

I can get the network back on by performing "Disconnect Network Adaptor" then "Connect Netwok Adaptor" but it's pretty painful to do on a regular basis.

It seems the same issue as is happening here:

Win 7 keeps losing network connection, resetting adapter brings it back for a while

I didn't have this issue with Fusion 2 but it's consistently occurring in 3.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Chris

I am also experiencing this issue.  I have the same workaround, disconnect and reconnect the connection.  Are you using a wireless connection?  I notice this happens to me when I'm on my wireless at home, but not when I'm at work (also wireless).  Perhaps the wireless is reconnecting and causes some kind of issue.
