Hello everyone, this is my first post. I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and I'm trying to install VMware Fusion 12 (I tried both Pro and Player editions) and the website claims it is compatible with macOS Catalina and greater. The thing is, it requires Big Sur and greater. It's because they decided to leave in the dark the Italian webpage (and probably other languages) and left the part where it says it's compatible with Catalina, while it isn't. Please fix this, as I got misled just because they forgot to update the webpage.
Fusion 12 is compatible with Catalina. But there's some "fine print": You need to run Fusion 12.1.2 in order to support Catalina. VMware dropped support for Catalina with 12.2. (the "fine print" can be found in the VMware Fusion release notes).
Fusion 12.1.2 can be downloaded from VMware's product downloads. By default when you go to download the product, it will offer to give you the latest version (12.2.3). However, you can select an older Fusion 12 version with a drop down in the download page:
