VMware Fusion 10 upgrade from 8.5 on El Capitan

Upgrade went smoothly, but cannot open any Virtual Machines. I get the following message.

My MacPro seems to support all the hardware requirements from the VMware website.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the information.

Zero stars to VMware for their information on the website, not at all clear and very misleading.

Please link to this page System Requirements for Fusion if you want to check your mac is compatible.

Don't believe the info on their website

NOT ALL XEON CHIPS ARE COMPATIBLE!

Hi,

Core 2 Duo  supported? I would laugh if it wasn't so sad.

Yah I agree, major fail.

To be fair when I look at your screenshot then it looks like the CPU details on that page was missed on updating it to Fusion 10 as that smells pretty much like Fusion 8.x requirements.

Mikero can you please have someone look into that and have that text corrected?

Saw this thread yesterday and contacted the team that can update the page.

At this time we are working on correcting the information on this page as it was an oversight.
