I've two VMWare windows open -- Windows and Ubuntu. Every now and again, they refuse to take cursor input. When the mouse cursor is hovered over the window, it stays as a pointy finger (selection cursor?) and OS X beeps at me when I try and click on the window. This has happened in both Ubuntu and Windows.
VMware Fusion 1.1.2 running on an iMac 2GB 2.16GHz. Leopard 10.5.2.
The only solution is to restart VMware — suspend the machines, and shutdown/restart the software.
I've been using VMWare Fusion intensively over the past few days and more and more it's starting to feel like buggy shareware.
