Ok my trusted friends, how goes the day? I'm currently attempting the setup VMWare Fusion Pro 13 on a Mac 2015 intel based cpu. This post is about helping me understand this software and correct protocol and procedure for what I'm doing. Basically, I'm asking if anyone would enlighten me by taking from the noob pool to the advanced pool. Respectfully, if your just going to reference docs to me or other resources please don't comment. I've already attempted to read the available resources in documents, video tutorials, etc from multiple sources and the information is too bogged down with convoluted jargon imho, that interpreting anything actionable and quick is almost non-existent. That being said I know there are people much smarter than me in CS and so I'm calling on the high courts of the community council to aid a humble request. To anyone with intentions, to help, thank you.
Arch Linux is not for the noob. If you’re not technically adept and have difficulty with understanding the Arch documentation, then you should really choose another Linux distro that’s easier to install for your skill level.
Maybe on x64 architectures, but it’s a total science project on ARM architectures - which you’d have to run with Fusion on Apple Silicon.
IMO Not for noobs on M1/M2 Macs. And I feel that you will need some tech chops for Arch on any platforms. I stand by my statement that if you can’t understand and follow the Arch guides and documentation, then Arch is not for you.
