I am Running latest version of VMWare Fusion (3.1.2) on a Snow Leopard (V 10.6.6) laptop (dual core 2.6 GHz, 8 GB of RAM). VM OS is a Windows XP (single processor, 1 GB RAM, 32 bit) joined to an Active Directory Domain. Performance is dog slow and eating up 100% of CPU. Have removed Spotlight from usage but still running in a DoS (denial of service) condition. This has been the case ever since I upgraded; very high CPU usage, slow. I have rebooted the Mac and the problem will go away only to reappear again.
This problem may have been already reported so if there is a solution to this issue much appreciated!
