Thanks for the previous threads re: forcing the virtual machine to shut down.
My problem is that it never shuts down without forcing. It should not have to be forced and soon Windows Vista Business will totally fail. Which is a major PITA.
Is this a compatibility issue of Win vs VMWare? Is there any tool out there to fix the problem? Or am I destined to just wipe the partition and reload everything?

My MacBook Pro has 10.5.7, 4GB ram, lots of disk space. VM version 2.0.5 (173382).It runs 24/7 and gets rebooted every other day and I run repair permissions monthly (and occasionally other tools).
