Since Big Sur update for Fusion 12.1 PRO, I'm having hard time into assigning a VLAN Nic to a guest.
I see no problems if I assign a guest an untagged nic, but there's no way a guest can get an ip address on a tagged vlan.
Sometimes this configuration works:
switch port: VLAN10, TAGGED || host nic: untagged || guest nic: VLAN10,TAGGED
and sometimes the guest is able to get an ip.
Sometimes, it happens that the host nic has to be tagged
to get an ip.
What is really weird is that until Catalina, it used to work this way:
switch port: VLAN10, TAGGED || host nic: VLAN10, TAGGED || guest nic: untagged
and dhcp-client was ok.
I don't know if the culprit is on Fusion or Big Sur, but now everything is messed up.
Am I the only one?
