I've plugged two different mics into the audio in port, yet the Win7 VM does not seem to make use of them. All audio input still comes via the built-in microphone. On std. machines, if you plug in a mic, it disables the built-in mic and uses the external one. I've already gone into Sounds in the Control Panel and set the Line-In as the default and that doesn't help. Regardless of whether the default device is set as the mic or line-in, the external mic will still not work. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get the external mic recognized and working?
