Upgraded to current version of Fusion now will not start :Failed to connect to peer process

Hi can anyone help. I am a real novice with Fusion.

I am running windows XP pro on Boot Camp Partition on I Mac. Upgraded Fusion to latest version and tried to start this morning and greeted with 'Failed to connect to peer process'. I looked on database and it talks of reinstalling but I cannot afford to lose the content currently in the Boot Camp.

Any suggestions or can someone point me in right direction?

Uninstall the Fusion completely and reinstall the same and check.

Hi Silica V

That worked thank you. The uninstall left the virtual machine intact. I did download and install the previous version of Fusion i.e. 1-2.1.3 rather than 2.
