Upgrad to High Sierra: Fusion 6.0.5 Doesn't Resume

I recently upgraded my Macbook Pro to MacOS 10.13.2 (High Sierra) in response to the Meltdown and Spectre bugs. When i launch my VMWare Fusion 6.0.5 it is constantly in "Resuming" mode.

Do I need up upgrade to Fusion 10 to get Fusion working again under High Sierra? Are there any special considerations/problems to be aware of in doing so?

Yes, you must upgrade Fusion to v10 as this is the only version currently supported on High Sierra.
