Unity view does not work on Fusion 10

I have a Mac Pro with macOS High Sierra and VM Ware Fusion 10.1.1, I use both Mac and Linux gusts and neither have the ability to use unity, is there a bug or an issue with Fusion and High Sierra?

I have VMTools installed on all guests with no issues.

Hi,

Unfortunately that is not a bug, it is by design.

I don't think that macOS/OSX ever had unity support? (I might be wrong)

In the past Linux guests did have unity support, however this support was axed in Fusion 8.

Nowadays Unity is Windows only territory.

At the time I wrote a blog post about it: VMware Workstation 12 discards unity support for Linux - PlanetVM

Pretty sad really as it was a great feature.

Sadly, (Mac) OS X/macOS guests have never had Unity support: it has been a requested feature, but since they removed Unity support for Linux there’s probably little hope to see it again in non-Windows guests.
