I have so far been unable to share a virtual machine between user accounts on the same computer; here's what I've done:
-moved the virtual machine to macintosh hd>users>shared
-confirmed that permissions were set to read & write for everyone, as well as for individual users
-control/right click on the machine to confirm that permissions were also set to read & write (I have to admit that I quickly got fed up with logging in to every single file in order to change these, so many have permissions set to 'everyone>read&write' rather than to individual users; also, many of the applications are also set up so that only the owner of the computer haf full privileges - does that matter?)
Despite doing this, none of the other users can access the machine and are greeted with an error message when attempting to do so ("the document windows xp professional could not be opened") - any idea how this can be fixed?
