Hi Try to apply the steps as described in the following article

If that doesntwork reinstallation of fusion may be required.

1) Uninstall fusion

2) Repair disk permissions

Perform repair disk permissions of MAC HD -> go to MAC HD -> Applications -> utilities -> disk utility -> click on verify disk permissions -> once that is completed -> click on repair disk permissions.

Restart the MAC computer.

3) Install fusion.

For details on uninstalling and installing refer this article

I encountered the same error on my MacBook.

Actually, it is your Mac OS got some errors, you can try to update the OS patch, it will be failed and report some "java can not install" error or something like that.

Fix OS X by reinstall it without erase disk will be OK:

Steps:

1. Shutdown your Mac OS and then press "option" key then power Mac on.

2. Selected "Recovery" to boot OS.

3. Try to reinstall or recovery OS but don't erase any disks.

4. Reboot OS X while it reinstall completed.

After that, everything will be OK.

Thanks for the OS X recovery boot.

My Macbook has my company's security at start-up so I could do what you suggested.

I'll check with my IT team to see if they can help with your fix.
