Unable to open MS Outlook after MS Office reinstall?

I had to do a reinstall of MS Office, now I am unable to get Outlook to open and run.

The message that I get is:  Cannot open your default e-mail folders.  The file  \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Documents\Outlook Files\email account name.pst cannot be opened.

When I click on OK Outlook shuts down.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is not relevant to VMware, this is Microsoft outlook issue. As a basic troubleshooting step .... in start>run and type 'outlook /resetnavpane' and press enter.
