Unable to load Ubunto 20.04

I just downloaded Ubunto 20.04 and tried to intstall it in VMware fusion. I get the message Could not open /dev/vmmon: Broken pipe. Please make sure that the kernel module `vmmon' is loaded

can anybody help

You don’t mention the version of Fusion you are using or how you tried to do the installation.

So, start here - note only the latest 11.5.5 version supports 20.04 as a guest OS:
