Unable to install Windows, VMWare fusion 8, MacOS high Sierra

Hi,

I'm trying to install Windows 10 and win 7 ISO files with VMware fusion 8 on MacOS High Sierra, and I get the following error: Could not open /dev/vmmon: No such file or directory. Please make sure that the kernel module `vmmon' is loaded.

Please help me.

Thanks.

Fusion 8.5 is not fully functional with High Sierra, High Sierra is supported by Fusion 10/ Fusion 10 Pro. Upgrading from Fusion 8 to Fusion 10: Upgrading from Fusion 8 to Fusion 10 (2126734) | VMware KB

HI MHampto...

This is the bad move from VMWare with the new MacOS. I will not upgrade and pay more money for software... I better move back to Sierra instead.

Thanks.

Well, you'll have a year until you have to upgrade because of security patches in OSX.

Keep in mind that 8.5 was a free upgrade last year.  8.0 was the last paid upgrade.
