Prints perfectly with the Mac. I have Snow Leopard 10.6.1 and the beta version of vmware fusion.
Also have the latest printer driver updates from HP.
The printer is an HP LaserJet P1006.
When I attempt to print under Windows, nothing happens.
I then check the print queue and see a message that it is printing (it isn't) or a message saying that it is waiting for the printer to become available. (the printer is available)
I removed and reinstalled vmware tools. (no change)
Also removed the printer under the mac in print preferences, restarted the mac and the printer was reinstalled. This did not help with printing in Windows.
The computer is an aluminum MacBook, late 2008 model.
There were no printing probelms under Leopard 10.5.8, apparently Snow Leopard has done me in.
Before the HP driver updates I could neither print in OS 10.6 nor Windows, and the HP driver updates fixed the printing in OS10.6 and 10.6.1.
Any thoughts on what to try next will be greatly appreciated.
