Ubuntu 18.04 (beta) guest not able to get IP from DHCP in NAT mode

I'm starting to test out Ubuntu 18.04 server as it's nearing release with Fusion 10.1.1. What I'm seeing is if the VM is in NAT mode it won't get an IP from the Fusion DHCP server. If I toggle the VM to be bridged it will pick up and IP and configure it's interface without intervention. This is true if i'm doing an install from the .iso or if the OS is installed and configured. I have also reproduced the same issue using workstation 14.1.1 running on Ubuntu 16.04. Virtual hardware is default for ubuntu-64 and intel e1000e nic. Source .iso http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily/current/bionic-server-amd64.iso Kernel is : 4.15.0-10 Suggestions on debugging and figuring out if this a Ubuntu or VMware bug? Thanks, Blake

Looks like this was an issue with the Ubuntu 18.04 server daily build. The build from 2018-03-08  is working as expected.
