This is a bug report. I could see no other way to report this. When VMWare Fusion Version 7.1.3 (3204469) is running, my Macbook Pro Retina does not mount USB drives until they are unplugged and plugged back in again. This is consistent for all ports. I discovered by accident that Fusion is causing the problem. It was not a problem in earlier versions of Fusion. I'm running Windows 7 as my virtual machine.
